Philips Hue Debuts New Plug-and-Play Outdoor Lights
Philips Hue debuted three new outdoor lights at CES: a path light (Econic), a spotlight (Lily XL), and a wall-mounted fixture (Appear) with lights that shine up and down. All of them support Hue’s full range of 16 million colors and include Bluetooth, so a Hue hub is not needed, allowing for extended outdoor functionality. These will become available in March.
New 4th Generation August Smart Lock
The 4th generation of August Smart Lock debuted at CES. Not only is it 45% smaller than the last generation, but it also has a built in Wi-Fi connector, eliminating the need for the August Connect bridge and maintaining the same functionality.
Wemo Mini is now even smaller!
When requiring the use of a smart outlet to enhance a custom install, Unify turns to Wemo. In addition, Wemo Stage, a detachable smart remote, was also unveiled at the CES show.
